How To Make The Best Green Salad?
First, prep all of the ingredients (and refrigerate) to save you time. Be sure not to prep the ingredients too far in advance or they may wilt at room temperature. You can store the ingredients in the refrigerator until you are ready to get started.
Making Lemon Dill Dressing

- 5 cups Mixed Salad Greens
- 2 Persian Cucumber (half moon sliced)
- 1 Granny Smith Apple (diced)
- 1 medium Avocado (diced)
- ¼ cup Pistachios
For Salad Dressing
- 3 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice (or Lime Juice)
- 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Dill plus for garnish (finely chopped)
- ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- To start with, add all the ingredients for salad dressing in a jar, cover with lid and shake vigorously to combine.
