The Idea behind Cubes N Juliennes
Growing up in a family of fabulous cooks, I experienced firsthand the warmth of cooking and the value of serving good meals that bring people together. Exceptional cooking doesn't have to be complicated. The journey of Cubes N Juliennes began with a vision to simplify the recipes and make them approachable for every home cook to enjoy with family and friends. I aim to help people make every meal special... that is deeply comforting and appealing to all the senses.

Know a bit more about Farrukh Aziz
It’s my absolute pleasure to be your guide on these culinary adventures! As an Indian Food Blogger and Photographer now based in Dubai, UAE, my own journey to start the Cubes N Juliennes blog began in Bangalore when I was an enthusiastic home cook with a full schedule…
I studied microbiology in university and began my profession as a naturopath. After marrying my now husband Shadab (more about him), my love of caring for others led me to becoming homemaker and a full-time mom of two beautiful kids - son Zain and daughter Alishbah. It’s during this time that I became truly passionate about cooking for my husband and two children.

That passion and positive feedback from my beautiful family and friends encouraged me to create Cubes N Juliennes as a way to share my home’s favorite recipes with the world. And hopefully, inspire others to enjoy cooking for - and sharing the love with - their families and friends!
But it isn’t enough for food to just taste good… You know what they say about “eating with your eyes first!”. My love of developing delicious recipes also evolved into an obsession with food styling and photography. I guess you could say, I’m always hungry for more!
I became so in love with the process of directing food-based photo shoots that I have spent years also doing work in food styling and photography for several other recipe developers and brands! I’m always so proud when I see my work bringing someone’s vision to life.
