Watermelon-Strawberry Ginger Lemonade

Summers have hit the Bangalore city. Bright sun is sucking out all our energy leaving us perspiring and making our body to demand progressively for chilled drinks to quench our thirst. It is always better, in-fact best to have delightful natural fruit drink over fizzy drinks. Fruits like melons, citrus fruits, berries are loaded with healthy natural sugars, water, vitamins and minerals.
Watermelons have high water content of approx 92%, rich in  soluble fibres, Vitamins B1 and B6 and lycopene. Strawberries and lemons are excellent source of vitamin C. Ginger and mint aids digestion, reduce inflammations. Honey is made up of glucose, fructose, and minerals such as iron, calcium, potassium and magnesium. When we are aware of amazing health benefits of these fruits, honey, ginger, mint…Why not to combine them all to make cool drink, sip it over and revive our selves. Let’s go through how to make this refreshing Watermelon-Strawberry Ginger Lemonade….

Ingredients:-
3 cups, watermelon, deseeded and cubed
1 cup, strawberries, roughly chopped,
2 tbsp, lemon juice
1 inch, ginger piece, peeled and roughly chopped
8-10, mint leaves
4 tbsp, honey (adjust the sweetness as per your preference)
few ice cubes, mint leaves  and lemon slices
Method:-
In a blender add watermelon, strawberries, ginger and mint leaves. Blend it until smooth
Add honey, lemon juice and water, blend again well. Strain it
Put few ice cubes, mint leaves and lemon slices in the serving glasses, pour prepared lemonade and serve chilled
Enjoy.
