Air Fryer Sweet Potatoes

- 1 pound Sweet Potatoes peeled and diced into ¾-1 inch cubes
- 1½ tablespoon Olive Oil
- ¾ teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¾ teaspoon Ground Cumin
- ½ teaspoon Paprika sweet/hot or smoked
- ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
- ½ teaspoon Salt or to taste
- ¼ teaspoon Freshly Ground Pepper or to taste
- Sea Salt for sprinkling while serving
- Fresh Parsley for garnish
Pre-heat the air fryer at 400°F.
Place peeled and cubed sweet potatoes, olive oil, garlic powder, ground cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and freshly ground pepper in a large bowl.
Toss to coat the sweet potato cubes well with the seasonings.
Place the seasoned sweet potato cubes in the air fryer basket and spread in single layer.
Air fry for 14-15 minutes shaking the basket once in between after about 7 minutes of cooking.
Transfer to the serving plate, sprinkle little sea salt and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
- Choose firm potatoes without blemishes, bruises and/or discoloration.
- A super sharp knife is best for getting through the potatoes quickly and safely.
- Take care to cut the sweet potato cubes in equal size for even cooking.
- Preheating the air fryer is a must! Adding the cubes to the hot fryer makes them crispy delicious.
- Do not overcrowd the fryer basket. Over crowding will create too much moisture and result in soft potatoes.
- Halfway through cooking, give the basket a good shake to turn the sweet potatoes.
- Leftover air fried sweet potato cubes will keep in the fridge for up-to 4 days in an airtight container.
