Ingredients

  • cups Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Frozen Strawberries
  • 1 cup Frozen Raspberries
  • 1 cup Frozen Blueberries
  • 1 cup Frozen Blackberries
  • ½ cup Frozen Cherries
  • 1 Frozen Banana
  • 1 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Maple Syrup optional
  • ¾ teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  • Start with adding unsweetened almond milk followed by frozen berries, frozen banana, chia seeds, maple syrup and vanilla extract into high-powered blender.
  • Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick for your liking, you may add little more milk and blend until desired consistency. You may also add more maple syrup for more sweetness only if you need.
  • Pour into serving glasses (you can garnish the smoothie with berries and mint sprig), and serve immediately!

Notes

I like to individually freeze my fresh berries, but store-bought frozen berries will also work for this smoothie.
Adding the frozen banana to this smoothie makes it thicker, sweeter, and creamier. If you want the smoothie sweet, then adding the banana is a great option.
If you would like to use fresh berries for the recipe, then freeze them in a single layer on a baking sheet until frozen.
Make a thick berry smoothie bowl by reducing the amount of milk and liquid. Top the smoothie bowl with nuts, seeds, extra berries, nut butter, and much more.
You can store the leftover smoothie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for two days. Have fun and create frozen smoothie popsicles by freezing the smoothie in individual molds with sticks.
