Greetings! Hope you all had a lovely vacation and a new year celebrations. Finally am back to a routine after a fun filled break.
Let’s start this year’s post with something spicy, rich and melt in mouth delicacy. Yes! it’s time for flavourful nosh ‘Paneer Aur Aloo Ke Kabab’ loaded with spicy seasonings and raisins. Raisins adds great texture, richness and sweetness that gives balanced sweet and sour taste to the kababs. Paneer aloo kabab makes an ultimate snack at Shaam ki Chai par dawat (evening tea party). It takes few minutes of assembly and you have you delicious kabab ready on sudden arrival of guests. For parties or any get together these can be served as an appetiser/starters.

250 gms, paneer, grated
2 cups, potatoes, boiled and grated
1/4 cup, kishmish (raisins)
1 teaspoon, ginger, grated
1&1/2 teaspoon green chili paste ( you can adjust accordingly)
2 tablespoon mint leaves, finely chopped
1/4 cup, coriander leaves, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon, cumin seeds, roasted and crushed
1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
1 teaspoon, chaat masala
1/4 cup, bread crumbs
1/2 tablespoon cornflour
salt and pepper to taste
Oil for shallow frying
In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients well to make a kebab mixture
Divide the mixture in to equal lemon sized balls
Shape and flatten each ball to form a patty /kabab
Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry kababs on both sides until golden brown and crisp
Take them off the heat
Serve these paneer aloo ke kebab with any chutney or sauce of your choice
