Bored of your monotonous breakfast and looking for something new, rich, tasty and healthy. Here is one option coming from me to you, “A perfect Mango Smoothie”. The drink is rich in fibre and low in fat which can be savored anytime, be it breakfast or hunger pangs. A simple way to make it is as below…
INGREDIENTS:-
1 cup, ripened mango, chopped
1 cup, low fat yoghurt
3 tbsp, rolled oats (instant oat can also be used)
2 sprigs, mint
2 tbsp, almonds, roughly chopped
3 tbsp, honey
Juice of 1 lemon
Saffron(optional) and Slivered almonds for garnish
Ice cubes as needed
METHOD:-
In a blender, blend together oats and almonds until powdered.
Add mango, yoghurt, mint, lemon, honey and ice cubes. Blend well until smooth.
Pour into glasses to be served.
Garnish them with slivered almond and saffron.
Serve immediately.
